Dr. philos. Kjell Aartun, a Norwegian, has solved the enigma.
The inscriptions consist of 4 languages: Minoean Hieroglyphs, Minoean linear A-script, Trojanic and Etruscian. Erotical poems in those 4 languages, approx. 3500 years old.
Same age (and content) as the american "rune" stones: "Spirit Pond stones" (Maine),"Grave Creek tablet" (West Virginia), "Manchester stone" (Kentucky), "Loudon County stone" (Tennessee), and "Heavenar stone" (Oklahoma).
The inscription on the "Kensington stone" (Minnesota) is approx. 500 years younger (i.e. 3000 year old).
(The talk about runes is sheer nonsens.)
Greetings. Steinar Skailand (amateur historian)

As a poor old osteoarchaeologist with a passion for (uk)Saxon/Viking period stuff, this new discovery has become quite a conversation piece. It will be great to hear the final translation and even better to hear if it is associated with a grave.
Good luck with your little project.
Yours sincerely
